Photos: Heather before, during
and after CFS
... from our family photo albums
A little cutie
Yes, she played the organ
... and the long hair is real too
Lots of time spent here, sitting on the bed
(or lying down, of course)
The view from my study, which became Heather's
bedroom during her CFS years... to keep her feeling
connected with the life of the family and the
outdoors
Receiving an award from Distance Education
on one of her better days
All dressed up
with her Big Brother
Love the sox!
In her nightie during the CFS days, but still
managing a bit of a pale-faced smile
Heather turned 16 while she still had CFS so we
had a small family celebration - including a bit
of (good) silliness
My Two Lovely Ladies
Heather after recovering from CFS
February 2003: Graduating from Queensland
University of Technology... and as pleased as punch
to be holding her very own Bachelor of Business
degree!
Later in the year, she handed in
her completed Honours Thesis.
In 2004, Heather started her Ph.D.
studies. And a stirring "yippee" is in
order because the Powers That Be granted her a scholarship.
Oops, make that a $cholar$hip if you get my point.
Imagine getting paid a decent-sized salary to study!
